Millie Mackintosh Is White Hot
Ms Millie Mackintosh has been on quite a roll this festival season. She might be the quintessential Chelsea girl, but she’s given some of the Coachella babes a serious run for their money this year. She might not be one for a spangly bikini or rainbow-coloured French braids (*cough*, Kylie Jenner, *cough*) but she’s got her own spin on festival fashion that I’m all about.
Firstly, that lacey jacket-cardi number is incredible. It’s fringed and flowery, but still manages to look classy in that pristine white colour (no word on whether it still looked so gleaming after a day in a dusty field, but we’re guessing the circles Millie moves in means she probably isn’t at risk of getting doused in a pint of Guinness.) Teamed with some sprayed on skinnies, Grecian sandals and the mother of all floppy hats, and hey presto: the perfect low-key festival look.
What I love about this is how effortless it is: it’s not try-hard, or too young. It’s classy, it’s chic, and I really, really want the whole look, please. I think this get-up would look equally splendid by the beach someplace breezy and lovely. Millie, enjoy Coachella, and I hope you have a good dry cleaner.
